Today is Commit for the Kids Day 2017, an initiative by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to encourage people around the world to donate money or time towards helping sick children. That’s why we chose today to announce that this year the Comalatech team is taking part in Extra Life, a charitable event supporting children’s hospitals.

Extra Life is program within the gaming community where participants fundraise by collecting donations for pledging to play games for 24 hours. Since 2008, Extra Life has raised over $30 million for local children’s hospitals, and the Comalatech team wants to help make 2017 even better. We’ve signed up to play 24 hours worth of games in November, and we’re hoping that our friends, family, and other members of the Atlassian ecosystem will support us.

Here’s How You Can Help

The best way to help us raise funds for Children’s Hospitals is to donate to our team. Visit our team page here and leave a donation, and you’ll be contributing to improving the lives of sick children, and we’ll be gaming in your honor come November.

Post on Social Media
You can also help by spreading the word about Extra Life. Make a post letting your followers know about the cause, and how the fundraiser works, and help encourage new teams to join up.
