    About the Opportunity

    The Full-time Marketing/Admin Assistant will support the company's business activities around the world. The Assistant will use outstanding interpersonal skills to support members of the team in completing critical business tasks. The role requires tremendous organizational capability in order to manage demands from a number of teams including management, sales, and marketing. On any given day they might book employee travel, coordinate a meeting for the President, take detailed notes in a marketing meeting, or manage the ordering of swag for a trade expo. The Marketing/Admin Assistant will be called upon to help plan events, manage external vendors, write internal memos, coordinate logistical details, and reconcile receipts. In essence, they will be the administrative linchpin that supports the entire organization. It is expected that this person will be motivated to grow and take on new challenges as they gain experience.

    Job Duties

    • Planning, managing, and supporting our appearance at trade shows, industry expos, and user groups around the world
    • Organizing and facilitating internal and external meetings
    • Keeping internal schedules and calendars up to date
    • Booking all team travel & accommodation arrangements for events and conferences
    • Working with vendors in a variety of countries to keep deliverables on schedule
    • Tracking and reconciling business expenditures
    • Collaborating with global industry partners to co-host events
    • Assisting the executive, sales, and marketing teams as necessary

    Desired Skills and Qualifications

    • 1-3 years experience in an administrative role
    • Familiarity with planning events
    • Post-secondary education in business or marketing, or equivalent experience
    • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (our team's common language)
    • Fastidiously organized
    • Comfort with modern software, and the ability to learn new software tools
    • Must have no problems travelling to Europe or North America
    • Candidates must be based in Spain, or Vancouver BC, Canada

    Bonus Skills and Qualifications

    • Spanish as a second language
    • Familiarity with the Atlassian Software Ecosystem
    • Exposure to the software development industry
